Design a water bottle geared towards younger kids in order to encourage them, their friends, and their parents to start using reusable water bottles.

Initially, we set out to increase the portability of reusable water bottles – however, a key insight from interviewing extreme users helped us realize a large underserved target market in the reusable water bottle industry: children.

After team discussion, parent interviews, and market analysis, we unanimously decided to pivot the focus to encouraging children to value their water bottles.

Three iterations of concept generations, team collaboration, validation interviews, reframes, and rapid prototyping based on stakeholder needs of parents and children led us to our final product.

The Doodle Bottle is a nontoxic, customizable, reusable water bottle for kids that’s hassle-free for parents.
